Jairo Arcilo Castillo Colombian
Developed by Colombia’s FNC and released in 2005, Castillo was created to improve productivity and protect coffee crops against coffee leaf rust.
A cross between the disease-resistant Timor Hybrid and the compact, high-quality Caturra, Castillo offers strong rust resistance, higher yields and adaptability across a range of growing conditions.
In the cup, it is known for a balanced profile with notes of citrus, red fruits and caramel, complemented by bright acidity and a smooth, medium body.
